Protected area. Enriching nature experiences.

Parc national du Lac-Témiscouata is a harmonious blend of water and woods and an essential stop on the Lands and Forests of Acadia circuit. This park protects a representative sample of the natural region of Monts Notre-Dame. Hiking, cycling, boating, and discovery activities are a great way for visitors to experience the spirit of this place and fully appreciate the scope of an area rich with 10,000 years of human history, all in an unspoiled natural setting. This park is nestled along the largest and most majestic lake in the region, Lac Témiscouata. Created by the power of glaciers, it invites calm and contemplation.

Park access authorization

There is a limit to the number of visitors that can enter a national park on any given day. It is therefore strongly recommended that you purchase your right of access online before a visit or that you acquire an annual pass. This guarantees you access to the park, will ensure a smoother arrival at the site and avoid unnecessary travel when the maximum capacity is reached. It can be purchased up to 30 days before a visit. You may be denied access to a sector, a trail, or an activity if a parking lot is full or if the maximum capacity has been reached.
